DURATION OF TRAINING
I know your biggest mistakes: bad pronunciation, confusing grammar, incorrect words, and literal translation! These things make people raise their eyebrows or tilt their heads!
- Pronunciation: Do you mean task or tax, patients or passions, phase or face, curses or courses? A small slip can completely change the meaning of your message!
- Grammar: Are you speaking in the past or present tense? Are your listeners sure of what you're saying? “I used to work with them”, “I usually work with them”, and “I'm used to working with them” don't mean the same thing.
- False Friends: There are English words that look similar to Spanish words, but mean something else… or even the opposite. These “false friends” can cause confusion and prevent you from communicating what you really want to say. Do you know the nearly 200 most common false friends, or not yet?
- You learned what you were taught, and it's not your fault that an entire generation of teachers in Spain didn't teach authentic, native-speaker English. However, if you carry those bad habits with you, they will affect your clarity and confidence.
- Correcting these errors can increase your accuracy by almost 50%. My system will help you identify, retrain, and reprogram your mind and pronunciation to say the right words in the right context.
