After more than 25 years helping people improve their spoken English and communication skills, I've discovered many key strategies and efficiencies. Eliminating confusion and building clear, consistent communication is achieved by reprogramming your mind, building confidence, focusing on the most relevant aspects of the language, working hard, and seeing results. My 25 years of experience have shown me the three most important keys to speaking a foreign language effectively:
- Avoid confusion. Only certain mistakes cause real problems; eliminating them is essential.
- Speak with confidence. Foundation, focus, and feedback make you more effective.
- Repeat. Practice fosters competence; practice in relevant contexts.
You need to progress quickly to a higher level. That requires effort, intensive practice, and some valuable tricks. Fluency isn't about knowing everything, but about communicating effectively in specific contexts. Your English doesn't have to be perfect, just about communicating your ideas correctly.
